Nanny's Chocolate Salami

  • 3 cups ground walnuts
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 6oz chocolate
  • 100gm slivered almonds
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Zest of 1 lemon

    1. Put all ingredients in a saucepan on low and heat until the mixture forms a paste
    2. Remove paste from heat and seperate into two equal portions
    3. Roll into two salami roll shapes on a board sprinkled with icing sugar (so it doesn't stick)
    4. Refrigerate until firm enough to slice.
